The Lake Forest Symphony is the only professional orchestra in Lake County. Celebrating more than 50 years, it provides diverse and outstanding musical programs of the highest artistic and professional quality for audiences of all ages. This musical jewel has been a delight for generations of symphony patrons.
After a year-long search for a new music director, the Lake Forest Symphony hired RED to publicize the selection of their new music director and their 2014-2015 season.
“The 2014 season is the perfect time for the symphony to refresh its already established brand image,” said Catherine Driscoll, President of RED. “They have the opportunity to reach a broader audience in Lake County and to showcase the wonderful work they do in music education for children.”
In one year, RED’s public relations support has garnered multiple articles in the Chicago Tribune, several magazine features on the new music director, feature stories in local magazines, a featured spot on the program of an internationally acclaimed Solit Foundation Benefit, and many successful reviews of their concerts and fundraising events. All have contributed to a 15% increase in subscription rates over the prior year.
RED has continued to assist with public relations and marketing to broaden the geographic reach, enhance concert subscription sales, boost attendance at fundraising events and concerts, and raise awareness of their educational initiatives. RED is also consulting with the Lake Forest Symphony’s event committees and Board of Directors to help them brand and host more successful and memorable fundraising events.
